Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The DM's Toolkit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The DM's Toolkit provides browser-based tools for use in tabletop roleplaying games, including the Initiative Tracker (free), Dungeon Soundscape (Pro), and Mass Battle Commander (Pro). Tools are delivered as HTML files that run locally in your browser.

3. Purchases and Licencing

Pro tools are sold as a one-time purchase via Gumroad. Upon purchase you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the tool files for your own personal, non-commercial use. Specifically, you may not:

Your licence is perpetual — there are no subscriptions and no expiry. Future updates, if provided, will be made available at no extra cost.

4. Refunds

Because our tools are digital downloads, we do not offer refunds as a matter of course. However, if you experience a genuine technical issue that we are unable to resolve, please contact us at hello@thedmtoolkit.com and we will work with you to find a fair solution.

5. Free Tools

The Initiative Tracker is provided free of charge with no account required. It is offered as-is. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue free tools at any time without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to the tool code, design, text, and graphics, is the property of The DM's Toolkit and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The DM's Toolkit is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast or Dungeons & Dragons.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the tools will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use of the tools is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The DM's Toolkit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
